Sim Portnoy is an Enrolled Agent, federally authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in matters such as audits, collections, and appeals.

In addition to his tax expertise, Mr. Portnoy is a Financial Advisor with a focus on retirement planning. He is an Investment Advisor Representative with Avantax Advisory ServicesSM, registered to conduct business in Texas, Kansas, Idaho, Colorado and Florida. He holds the FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, along with a Texas license for Life, Health, and Disability Insurance. His mission is to assist and educate clients on income tax strategies and comprehensive retirement planning.
